ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports bidder prequalification process
  • Prequalifies bidders
  • Puts together Request For Proposal (RFP) packages
  • Coordinates bidder questions and answers to those questions
  • Prepares Bid Summary
  • Develops and maintains strong business relationships with subcontractors
  • Ensures subcontract compliance with Company policies and local law
  • Manages administrative tasks including the coordination and support of milestone payment, performance-based payment, invoice review, and ongoing communication with the subcontractors and project teams
  • Supports performance management evaluation
  • Develops solutions forsupplier contractual issues
  • Performs risk assessment, identifies potential risks and impacts, and develops mitigation plans

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of six (6) years experience in international contracting/subcontracting environment
  • Understanding of how Liquidated Damages are incorporated within the subcontract agreements
  • Ability to develop and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, master subcontract agreements
  • Proven ability to build and maintain solid relationships based on mutual respect with senior level internal and external customers, peers and team members
  • Demonstrated ability to influence key decision-makers and to effectively negotiate with Subcontractors Working knowledge
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple subcontracts and priorities
  • Sound leadership, problem solving and critical thinking skills, ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity and ambiguity
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills, strong presentation skills, ability to listen well and communicate effectively with others
  • Proven ability to collaborate across the organization and operate effectively within a matrix environment by resolving conflict and influencing others
  • Thorough understanding of the bonding process

 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree required/Master’s degree preferred
